Nando's Reading - Gateway

Had a great experience at the restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit, with a special shoutout to Ali for going above and beyond. The food arrived promptly and was served warm and fresh. Definitely a place worth revisiting!

Me and my entire family came here on 15/6/25, around 8, my mum was wearing a lavender colour, and it was very very busy because of Father’s Day. However, when we got seated, our food did not take long at all to come. Every single server that came to us was so nice and despite it being incredibly busy, they were being so considerate and attentive. At one point, we wanted salt and so after checking near the sauces stands and seeing none, I asked one of the servers and he told me, despite being in the middle of something, that he would get my table some straight away, a few moments after, he came with normal and peri peri salt. Another server or I think manager can’t remember came and checked up on us asking if everything was okay which I get is what servers are expected to do, but in such a rush hour, it felt nice being asked if we needed anything else despite it. Another server or manager let us know that we could get ice from upstairs because it had ran out down stairs. Overall, me and my family were just so impressed with how nice and friendly the staff were, as with such an overstimulating environment it can be hard to be such way, but they still were. Just being so kind made the experience so much better so thank you!

Pleasantly surprised with this newly opened Nando’s. Service is very good, food is served hot and at a timely pace, staff are very accommodating and the place is spotless, including the toilets. A nice and comfy environment with a wide range of food to choose from. Mainly impressed by the allergy selection of food, whereby the chef consults and assures customers with allergies how their food has been cooked. There’s isn’t enough of this kind of service in my opinion, so five stars are well deserved. Totally recommended -plenty of car parking spaces too.

Went on a Sunday lunch time & it wasn’t busy at all. Lots of seating and parking. A young lad seated and served us & he was really nice. He was personable & attentive. Great service & I would go back.

Lovely Nandos conveniently situated in a retail park, so plenty of parking available. After a 40 minute wait (yes it was a busy Sat evening) we were seated. Food arrived within 10 mins of ordering and tasted good as I would expect. Would deffo visit again if in area

Great place to be with family and also with friends. Place is quite big, it got two floors personally I like upper floor which gives you a better view. Ambulance is very good.

Been here a few times with my family, visited again tonight. The food was delicious as usual & really good service (thank you Harrison!). The staff are very friendly and helpful. Lots of parking too
